PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH IN IRELAND: As part of its series of public lectures, Union Theological College will welcome the distinguished Oxford historian – and expert on Jonathan Swift – Professor Ian McBride, who will give a lecture on Swift’s attitudes to and relationship with Presbyterianism, particularly in Ulster. The lecture will take place on Tuesday 15 January at 7.30pm.
