You can choose to fill a shoebox yourself, or with friends, or even just bring along one or two items that can be included in a shoebox. Your help, in whatever form, will be very much appreciated. There are a small number of leaflets available in the vestibule which will give you information on what can be included in a shoebox and how to proceed or you can find full instructions on what to do by going to www.samaritans-purse.org.uk and clicking on the ‘Operation Christmas Child’ tile. Just think, your simple gift of a toothbrush or a bar of soap could make a child’s Christmas.
